In addition, Don Nix appeared as a saxophonist on several Satellite/Stax sessions (beginning from "Last Night" [Satellite 107] by The Mar-Keys in 1961), including recordings by Otis Redding, William Bell, Rufus & Carla Thomas, Sam & Dave and Wilson Pickett. He also played baritone saxophone and sang ("Three Angels") on "The Hills Of Indiana" LP by Lonnie Mack (Elektra EKS-74012, 1971) + appeared on background vocals at least on following albums: V/A: "The Concert For Bangladesh" (Apple STCE 3385, 1971), Earl Scruggs: "Anniversary Special" (Columbia LP 33416, 1975), Ann Peebles: "Fill This World With Love" (Bullseye CD 9564, 1996) and Donnie Fritts: "Everybody's Got A Song" (Oh Boy CD OBR-017, 1997).
